Website and Business Representative Privacy Policy: How we handle data collected on this website and from corporate activities and events.

Marketing Architects, Inc. (“MA”) respects your privacy and recognizes your right to transparency and security regarding any personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information we receive via our website, marketingarchitects.com (the “Website”), and through various other interactions with you when you are acting in a professional capacity such as when enquiring about, researching, assessing, or engaging in business with MA. It also explains how California residents using this website and engaging with MA in a professional capacity may exercise their rights pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).

If you are a consumer, this Privacy Policy does not cover certain data we use in providing advertising services to our clients and does not apply to you.

Information MA May Collect

MA collects any personal information, such as name and email address, that you voluntarily submit to MA in connection with inquiries about our advertising services through the Website including through our “Talk to Sales” form, “Request a Demo” form, “Contact Sales” form, “What We Do, Let’s Talk” form, “Podcast Submit a Question” form, and weekly insights “Sign Up” button.

When you visit the Website, MA and its service providers automatically collect personal information using cookies, small text files that are left behind on your computer to track you when you visit the Website, and pixels, snippets of code or tiny invisible images that gather information. Personal information collected through these automated means is gathered and stored in log files and may include data available from your web browser such as IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exiting pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and click stream data. What these automated means tell us about your Website visit depends on your relationship to us. If you are a client or prospective client whose contact information resides in our customer relationship platform, we may be able to identify you by name, identify your company, and may know which pages of the Website you visited. If we do not have a client or prospective business relationship and your contact information is not in our customer relationship platform, and you visit the Website, we identify you as an anonymous visitor, identify how many pages you viewed, which pages you have visited, and may be able to identify your company. If we send you an email and you are a client or prospective client whose contact information resides in our customer relationship platform, our email tracking software places a pixel on the email that may be able to tell us if you opened the email, clicked on any links in the email, and viewed any attachments to the email.

MA also collects personal information we gather about you in the process of marketing our advertising services to you from initial research through in-person meetings seeking your business, as well as personal information we collect in the process of providing advertising services to your company. This personal information includes information such as your name, email address, company name, job title, address, and phone number; information about your educational, professional, and employment background; and other information you may provide about yourself via telephone calls, texts, email communications, meetings, and/or other forms of communication with you. We also collect personal information that you provide to us at conferences, events, and trade or industry shows sponsored by, hosted by, or attended by MA employees or representatives, or that you provide to the organizers or sponsors of conferences, events, and/or trade or industry shows sponsored by, hosted by, or attended by MA employees or representatives.

Personal information can also include information about you that is publicly available such as from LinkedIn, Google, your company’s website, press releases about you or your company, news articles about you or your company, and publicly available information that we acquire from other sources such as company data providers. We also collect personal information via referral. If you contact us in connection with an inquiry about a job listed on the “Careers” page on the Website, we collect the personal information provided in connection with that inquiry.

What MA Does with the Information it Collects

MA may retain and use your personal information for several purposes, including addressing your inquiries made via the Website or other means such as telephone calls, texts or emails; marketing our advertising services to you; conducting general marketing and market research; and providing our advertising services. We may use your personal information to communicate with you about our advertising services through emails, texts, blogs, newsletters, white papers, and/or articles. How MA Shares Information

We do not disclose your personal information except as described in this Privacy Policy or as instructed to do so by you.

We may disclose personal information to service providers who are performing services on our behalf when that personal information is necessary for them to perform their services for us and/or for your company. We may provide personal information to service providers that perform creative and production services for your company; provide IT services including service providers that host and maintain the Website; provide email services; provide marketing assistance; and perform event production, coordination, and management. We may also provide service providers involved in accounting, finance, insurance, and legal services with your personal information. Service providers are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to perform the services for which they were engaged. Security Of Your Information

MA uses administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps and use best practices to secure your personal information, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Personal Information Collected By Our Clients

MA creates television commercials and other advertising content, purchases media, provides analytics, strategy services, conversion solutions, and ecommerce consulting to our clients. MA collects and analyzes personal information as directed by our clients and in accordance with our advertising services agreements. Our advertising services agreements prohibit us from using personal information provided to us by our clients or collected by us on behalf of our clients except as necessary to provide and improve our advertising services. Personal information provided to us by our clients or collected by us on behalf of our clients is used, disclosed, and protected by them according to their privacy policies and is not subject to this Privacy Policy.

California residents have certain rights regarding the collection, use, selling, and sharing of Personal Information which California law defines to mean “information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household. This section of the Privacy Policy is intended solely for, and is applicable only as to, California residents using the Website and engaging with MA in a professional capacity. California residents have the right to receive notice of the categories of Personal Information MA collects, the purposes for which those categories of Personal Information will be used, whom those categories of Personal Information is shared with, and how long those categories of Personal Information is retained. We may collect Geolocation Data. As described above, we collect your IP address automatically when you use the Website. We may be able to determine your general location based on the IP address. We use this information to market and/or provide our advertising services to you.

We may collect audio, electronic, or similar information by recording a phone call or meeting. We use this information to market and/or provide our advertising services to you. We do not provide this information to third parties.

We may collect professional or employment-related information. We use this information to market and/or provide our advertising services to you or in connection with an employment application.

We may share any of the above-listed information with Service Providers, which are companies that we engage for business purposes to conduct activities on our behalf. Service Providers are restricted from using Personal Information for any purpose that is not related to our engagement. California residents have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising their rights under the CCPA. MA does not discriminate based on an exercise of rights under the CCPA.
